Christian Eigner is a drummer, studio musician, composer, producer, and the long time drummer of Depeche Mode. But above all, he is a musical visionary whose extraordinary talent transcends the role of a drummer.
At just 16 years old, he began his career as a studio drummer, contributing to over 1,000 studio albums. In 1995, he moved to London, quickly establishing himself in the British music scene. His breakthrough came with Depeche Mode, where he has found his musical home for almost three decades.
Since then, he has significantly shaped the band’s sound aesthetic, making a decisive contribution to their status as one of the biggest and most successful live acts in the world today. With his concert series, “The Solo Concerts,” Eigner showcases another facet of his artistry, captivating audiences with unique and groundbreaking drum performances.
Today, he is regarded as a pillar of the international music scene—an artist who continually redefines the boundaries of drumming and inspires audiences around the globe.
