- maple reinforcement rings acting as bearing edges on both batter and resonant side,
- single-flanged brass hoops.
Q Drum Co. says…“These shells are very controlled and punchy with enhanced lows and highs. We also produce shells made out of cold-rolled steel which are a touch more “live”, adding a longer decay. Maple reinforcement hoops retain the warmth of wood shells.”
