SVM Percussion will be introducing J.Leiva’s Omeya Evolution II Walnut and Russian Birch Cajon and their revolutionary new Omeya ëCrystalí transparent PMMA Plexiglass Cajon at the U.K. Drum Show.
With the ‘Evolution II’, Leiva present the next development of their best-selling Omeya model.

Handcrafted in 12mm Russian Fenolic Birch plywood, with integrated mecanised Walnut. Tandem seat in natural 10mm rubber. Special rubber feet with reduced contact area, and disconnection from the floor. Direct Tuning System with six guitar strings in V form, localised vertically and tuneable from the exterior of the Cajon without the need for keys or other tools.
The Omeya ‘Crystal’ clear Cajon is a brand new concept from J.Leiva, bringing pure, clean, brilliant, velvety and mellow traits to the table. As functional as it is beautiful, and a great sounding instrument.
The body is constructed from 10mm thick PMMA Plexiglass with a front panel of Russian Birch wood, laminated to 3.2mm. High-power laser-cutting and engraved surfaces. Glued with a special high-power PMMA union cement. The tuning system is the same as on the ‘Evolution’ model.
