Ciara is a British Drummer and Educator from Essex in the UK. With a love of Odd Time signatures, Ciara has been described as a Pop/Rock drummer with a progressive edge.
Upon graduating from the ACM, Ciara played many theatre shows and performed in bands across the UK, Europe and America. She then went on to study intensively at LAMA in Los Angeles under Ralph Humphrey and Joe Porcaro. Upon returning to the UK, she studied with the great Jazz drummer Bob Armstrong.
Ciara’s love of Drum Education has led to hosting sold out Drum Camps and being invited to deliver clinics and Masterclasses. Highlights include opening for Richard Spaven at The School of Drumming and last year being invited to play at the UK Drum Show.
Ciara currently has a busy schedule, teaching, recording and Podcasting. Her first ever book “Odd Times Made Easy” is available now on Hudson Music.
