Coach Party Drummer Guy Page Redefines His Live Sound with ACS Custom

For Guy Page, drummer and producer of the Isle of Wight indie-rock outfit Coach
Party, every beat matters. Whether it’s locking into a tight groove or reacting
dynamically to a packed crowd, having clarity on stage is non-negotiable. That’s
why Guy turned to ACS Custom In-Ear Monitors—and hasn’t looked back.

“The difference is night and day,” says Guy. “With ACS, you’re not just hearing the mix—you’re living inside it.” Like many touring drummers, Guy first used universal-fit IEMs—the kind that come with a standard shape and interchangeable tips. But in the heat of a live set, comfort, isolation, and sound quality often fall short. The result? Fatigue, guesswork, and an inconsistent performance. That’s where ACS Custom steps in.

Handmade in the UK and crafted from soft medical-grade silicone, ACS Custom IEMs are moulded precisely to the shape of each ear. This creates a secure, pressure-free fit that offers exceptional isolation and hours of comfort—ideal for the physical intensity of drumming.

“With universal IEMs, I was always adjusting. With ACS, they just disappear. You forget they’re there—until you realise how much better everything sounds.”

For Guy, switching to ACS has meant sharper timing, greater confidence, and a more immersive connection with his bandmates. From small clubs to festival stages, his in-ear mix is now consistent, detailed, and fatigue-free. Coach Party’s rise through the UK and international live circuit has been fuelled by raw energy and sonic precision. Behind the kit, Guy Page is locked in—thanks, in part, to a monitor system he can trust!

Sonor Welcomes The Who’s New Drummer

0

SONOR Drums is proud to announce a partnership with renowned drummer Scott Devours. Joining the legendary GRAMMY-winning and 100 Million Records selling band The Who on their final US tour, “The Song Is Over” – The North American Farewell Tour, he will play on the 22-date summer run including stops in the UK, Italy, US, and Canada. Known for his dynamic performances across pop, punk, funk, and rock, Devours has selected the SONOR Vintage Series, Kompressor Snare Series, and Giant Step Pedals as his instruments of choice.

When I was 18 years old and I got my very first professional touring gig, we played a residency at Bally’s in Atlantic City. They had a house kit—SONOR—and I clearly remember being blown away by the tones coming from those drums,” says Devours. “I never forgot it. As my life and career slowly progressed, I always assumed that a premium kit like that was only a dream, an unreachable goal. But as life taught me to never give up on your dreams, eventually I was able to play my dream kit on my dream gig—with The Who and Roger Daltrey’s solo band.

Devours has built a versatile career performing and recording with major acts including Speaker (Capricorn Records), Oleander (Universal Records), IMA Robot (Virgin Records), and Don Felder (formerly of The Eagles). From 2009 to 2025, he toured extensively with Roger Daltrey‘s band, and in 2025, he is taking the stage for The Who’s final U.S. tour.

SONOR is proud to partner with Devours as he continues to shape his rock ‘n’ roll legacy behind the kit.

BIOGRAPHY:

“I was born on September 8, 1990 in New Jersey.  I spent my formative years exploring the local creative scenes of New York City and Asbury Park.  Eventually, I began playing music and creating art at age 14.

In 2008, I moved to Hoboken, NJ to attend Stevens Institute of Technology, and to further immerse myself within New York’s creative community.  While pursuing my education, I toured internationally, playing drums with Bruce Springsteen & The E St. Band, Against Me!, Kvelertak, Madball, and more.  In 2012, I began my formal art education, studying with oil painter Michelle Doll.

I graduated from Stevens in 2013, receiving my Bachelors Degree in Business & Technology with Honors, as well as the school’s award for “Most Innovative Senior Design Project.”  In December 2013, I joined Des Moines, Iowa-based heavy metal band Slipknot.  I’ve since performed on the band’s fifth, sixth, and seventh studio albums: “.5: The Gray Chapter,” (2014) “We Are Not Your Kind,” (2019) and “The End, So Far” (2022, Roadrunner), as well as its third live album / theatrical documentary of the band’s first-ever performance in Mexico “Day of the Gusano,” (Eagle Rock) and studio single “All Out Life” (Roadrunner).

.5: The Gray Chapter” debuted at #1 on the US Billboard 200, as well as in Japan, Australia, Canada, Russia, and Switzerland.  It has been certified Gold in the US, Australia, Austria, Germany, and the U.K., and Platinum in Russia.  The album received nominations in the 57th and 58th Grammy Awards (“The Negative One” and “Custer,” Best Metal Performance; Best Rock Album). “We Are Not Your Kind” (Roadrunner) debuted at #1 on the US Billboard 200, as well as in the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, Canada, Belgium, Finland, and Ireland. “The End, So Far” debuted at #2 on the US Billboard 200, and #1 in Australia, Germany, Greece, Mexico, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

Since 2014, I have spent my time touring with Slipknot throughout North, South, and Central America, Europe, U.K., Russia, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, as well as performing and releasing music with Hesitation Wounds: a Los Angeles-based hardcore band co-founded by myself, Jeremy Bolm (Touché Amoré), Neeraj Kane (Hope Conspiracy, Suicide File), and Stephen LaCour (ex-Trap Them).  The band released a four-song EP “Hesitation Wounds” (Secret Voice) in 2013, and its debut full-length “Awake For Everything” (6131) in 2016.

Since relocating to Nashville, Tennessee in 2015, I have continued to paint, focusing primarily on oil paintings. On July 7, 2022, I hosted my debut solo art exhibition A Hollow Realm on July 7, 2022 at Rampart Studios Gallery in Los Angeles, CA — displaying a collection of oil paintings for the first time since I began creating the body of work in 2014. I have also collaborated with SJC Custom Drums, creating one-of-a-kind mixed media paintings on drum shells.

In 2018, I began working with Best Buddies Tennessee, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Since 2020, I have collaborated with SJC Custom Drums and Vater Drumsticks in releasing my first signature products: the Vater “908” Drumstick, my Signature SJC 48ply Snare Drum, my “First Blood” SJC practice pad, “The Crucible” SJC Snare Drum, and the Jay Weinberg Signature SJC Custom Drum Kit. In 2023, I released my own signature virtual instrument, Mixwave: Jay Weinberg — a Native Instruments / Kontakt DAW plug-in that gives users the ability to record their own music with a comprehensive sample library of my entire drum and cymbal collection, as recorded by me. In 2025, I collaborated with Zildjian Cymbals to release the 7″ FX Break Bell — a cymbal we designed together over 10 years of research and development.

I was voted “Drummer of the Year” in the 2014 Loudwire Music Awards, one of the “Top Three Drummers Who Made a Difference in 2015” in DRUM! Magazine, “Best Metal Drummer” in the 2015, 2017, 2019, 2020, and 2022 MusicRadar / Rhythm “Best In Drums” Polls, Best Metal Drummer and #1 Rock Drummer in Modern Drummer’s 2017, 2020, 2022, and 2023 Readers Polls, as well as “Metal Drummer of the Year” and “Drum Recording of the Year” in the 2021 and 2022 Drumeo Awards.

Since February 2024, I have been playing with Southern California icons Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves. Throughout 2025, I’ll be touring with Suicidal Tendnecies supporting Metallica on the M72 World Stadium Tour, as well as performing solo drum clinics, and recording & releasing music with some exciting new projects. Stay tuned…”
